Hi,

I am new to this site. I retired two years ago and have been able to spend more time fishing. That's what retirements about right? I have been looking around and it's amazing the amount of people and information here.

My father recently passed away and I inherited his fishing gear. He had a DAM Quick 331N which I am hoping to take apart, clean and grease. At the same time I want to change the handle from the left side to the right side. While looking for the correct part I came across this site and knew it was the right place. I am looking forward to viewing more posts for ideas on what to do next. Thanks for letting me share.

Hi Mike, what part of the world are you at?
Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Welcome aboard, Mike!

If you still need anything for your Dad's DAM Quick 331N, including the connecting arm to switch it to a "right" side crank —- I have any parts you may need.

Condolences on the passing of your father.

He is honored that you are valuing, servicing, and fishing his reel.  These are lifetime+ reels —- engineered to last multiple generations —- not throw-away Asian junk.

The best value reel is the one you only buy one time.

Best, Fred

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Answer to one question. I live in upstate New York just outside of Rochester. I am about 3 miles from Lake Ontario and within a short drive to multiple finger lakes. Those along with many ponds and creeks I have plenty of places to fish.

Dominick

Like Mike. Welcome from a native New Yorker.  Now in San Mateo. CA.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Bill B

Well heck,  if Dominick claims ya, can't be all bad 😆  Welcome from the mountains of SoCal.  Bill
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!
