In Texas most fishermen wait till Spring to fish for crappie .I like to fish for them as early as November and continue thought Spring, they will come to a quiet bay at night that have lots of minnow .I just made for myself a tackle box with light ,using 2 pieces of cedar fence board ,some light from Ebay and some electrical parts .Right now I use a drill battery but will order a Lithium  LiFePO4 20 AH Battery

Clever. Seems a bit bulkier than I would like, given what it appears to be carrying. But I love the ingenuity.

Stores like autozone etc have small-size switches that I've used for stuff like this, that take up a lot less real estate.

I carry very few jigs when crappie fishing but I need somewhere to mount the light .It's light only use 1 6"x6' cedar fence board and a little more .Electronic switch hard to install to me and don't take abuse like these ,I just use what I have in garage .In the rear is much more heavy duty box I made for salt water fishing

:)  Must say ,I like the spindle handle .   Question Do you even need the white light , the yellows look bright and a little easier for night vision .   That battery may last all night long  with leds , and easy to recharge .

White light attack more minnow than yellow and you're right yellow is better to my eye than white and seem don't scare fish much .Anyway the yellow is color of the len ,bulb is clear

love it, great work amigo.

here's an idea, measure some of your regular plastic plano boxes and put some plastic or wood dividers on that cedar wood box so, the plano boxes will keep more firm while moving it

sorry, I wasnt clear, the tray I posted was just an example.

since you made your tackle box from the scratch it would be nicer if you also made the dividers from a piece of wood

Glue or tack in 1/4" x 1/4" slats to make dividers.  It's a nice wagon either way.
