Brilliant - Fishing Rod Shipping Container

I received a shipment of fishing rods earlier this week.  It was from Fred and the first thing I noticed was the shipping container.   

Normally, I receive a cardboard container (sometimes damaged) that are plastered with "Do Not Bend", "Do not Drop" or "Do not Damage" labels.

Fred, however packed the fishing rods inside a vinyl drain spout. How genius and inventive is that!

Not only were the rods spared breakage from USPS handlers or airport handlers, I now have a container to store the rods or to use for travel.
