Had a great day on the Easturn Pacific yesterday

Great weather, good company, and even better crab fishing.

The Cod part was 200' off Point Reyes. We were so close to the point that we couldn't see the roof on the light house.

Very challenging fishing, I lost 5 rigs before landing my first of two cods. I was running so slow on gear that I started casting 300g jigs which paid off. I caught my second Cod and a Calazone! First Calizone I'd caught in 20 plus years.

Weather was perfect with an amazing sunrise and sun set.

We set 36 hoop nets and ended resetting 20 of them before getting limits for the customers and crew. Long day but worth it.

Nice trip, nothing like those dungenes, man they're good. And a cabbie to boot!

I prefer them over Snow Crab, and they are a whole lot less in the stores Alejandro!

Is your Blue Crab the same species as the American East Coast?
