Hello all

I wanted to say hi and thank you for letting me join up!  I have found a lot of extremely good information here lurking on several project reels I have (mainly TLD15 and TLD25 - did the carbontex drag upgrade). I now have a question on a 50TW that I'll post up once I get it opened up to verify a few things. Thanks again for having such a wonderful helpful community!

Welcome Andy from the SoCal Inland Empire.  About 20 miles north of San Antonio hopefully puts you in the neighborhood of New Braunfels, home of a few really great smokehouses and meat processors for anyone like me that is a big fan of sausage, jerky, etc! - john

I'm about a 25 min drive to the west northwest from there. Granzin's and Koepp's make some fabulous stuff. I particularly like Granzin's and have taking them deer over the years. I also like Dzuiks for processing out in Castroville way out to the west. Depends on which direction I'm coming from. I've been threatening my wife about building my own smoke shed but so far it's only been idle threats. But it is good for eye rolls.
