A little more money can get you into a Shimano Tiralejo.  The 9'6" is a nice rod that I cast all day in Hawaii.
Stay Classy!

I will be trying surf fishing here in Brookings this spring. I will be going for surf perch and was told a 7.5' would be good enough.

Sound right?
I woke today and suddenly nothing happened.

Longer would be better, lots of people use 8-9 foot steelhead rods.
Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

It only took 5 days for the rod to get delivered from Fish-Field. Sportco or Tackle Direct couldn't do it in a month.

The owner has been a long time supporter of a non profit I was a founding member of and have been on it's board  for 22 years, Oregon Coalition Educating ANglers (OCEAN).

I had no doubt you would be treated well.
