Creek Crappie ?

I caught this 4" crappie at the creek today on my bream buster with a #10 hook.This guy looks different
To me than the black crappie in my pond maybe its the water or it's
"Swamp Crappie"

I think that's what you call a flier, not a crappie. Fliers don't get very big, the US record is only like a pound and a half. I've never seen one. They are in west TN and MS, LA, AL, GA, FL, and maybe AR, and MO. Very similar to crappie, but mouth is smaller.

Yep I knew the spots looked different & more of a gold color,my 1st time seeing one.
