there was a Shakespeare reel came up on facebook this morning, it is an old direct drive non star drag reel, simular to the pflueger Akron reels, anyway, he managed to get parts for it, using,-Shakespeare Co, Kalamazoo tackle Company, not to sure were in the world they are, or were this bloke is living, but just may help someone, cheers Don.
