Just got this reel. Upside down left handed penn. Does anyone know anything. I can't find much.

Yeah it's different than that one. This one sits under the rod on an extended post/ seat as seen in the first pic. It is plastic so it would not be great at high drag.

Ooh...
Had to go digging for this.

The Commander HM (hanging mount) version.   Penn's ideas of a design for that would appeal to the Euro folk.

You have been blessed.  Sort of.

I just went through it and it's new inside. Dont think the handle is stock though. Interesting reel.

I wonder if it has collector value.

not the same reel or anything, it just that resembles my "unicorn" omoto reel because of the BIG plastic reelfoot

Just when you thought you seen it all.....
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Take one of these on your next long range trip and fish it upside down.
( or should I say downside up)

Gfish

Looks like it might work well for a jigging baitcast set-up. Good for balance, but closer to the rod-handle than a spinner. I've smacked my spinning reel bail, handle and gear-box many times, but maybe that's a close quarters-kayak thing.
Fishing tackle is an art form and all fish caught on the right tackle are"Gfish"!
