Thank you!  I brought this reel for two days fishing, so far only small nibbles and big lingcods. I'm loving this reel just as much as my Blackfish Special. I let my good buddy fish it for a few minutes and he thought he hooked the bottom. It was a big lingcod. He said he like my Blackfish Special better because he can take the reel apart by turning one screw. He said this pig puller will make a good wreck reel -- strong enough to turn a fish heading for cover. Now, he is going to build one like mine with a SS gear sleeve, beefed-up 5 drags, and a custom stainless dog. The only difference is he wants a red handle.

Just to give an FYI to your bud, there's a pricey red 24-56 handle on the bay currently.
