Hi everyone, today I managed to get some cheep syringes, but I am not to sure that they are okay to use with epoxy, on the label, BD Syringe, lure loktip, latex free, sterile if package intact, Non-Pyrogenic, this product is not made with natural rubber latex also not made with PVC, there is about 60 syringes, can anyone help me, cheers  Don.

Should be able to use them just fine. Just mark which one is which and you can keep reusing the same ones.

Be careful if using with rod finish epoxy. Some of them have silicone in them which will cause "fish eyes " in the finish. Should be fine for other uses

So Don are you gonna mix the epoxie parts 1 and 2, then use the syringe to inject the mix into small spaces?

 Like everyone said , they can be reused .     I pull back the plunger after use , they do gum up a little  and makes it easier to unstuck .   Save some caps and drill hole in them to make it easier and cleaner loadings .      And if they come in a container , they mae good grease /paint brush applicator .

just play for the safe and get some proper rod epoxy syringes, they cost almost nothing and one pair will last you years, no need for 60 syringes.


I have 3-4 spare 2-pack of epoxy syringes and my wife have used two of those packs for other uses

Been using 2-part epoxy since I was a kid. My Dad showed me, emphasizing through mixing and having everything ready.
 
He brought home Super glue once when it was called Eastmen's 9-10. Little so and so that I was, I stole it and took it out on the street where nobody knew what it was; "hey you guys check this out, lemme put a tiny drop on your finger, now squeeze it together with your thumb". It was great fun until a bigger kid, trying to be a hero, grabbed it out of my hand and chased after me for some payback. No cap though, and several drops hit him in the face as he ran after me and one(he said latter?) went into his mouth. The big hero started bawling like a baby rushed into the kitchen sink at his house screaming bloody murder, which brought his Dad out to get after me. Luckily, after a lecture his Dad gave the bottle back and I was able to keep the incident from my parents.
I was bothered by what I did, but at the same time glad that "Big Curt" finally got brought down a few notches.

thanks Joe for all the pictures, the proper old syringes I am using, I have had for quite a while, & the measurement marks are starting to ware of, so I will try these new ones, & see how it looks after, thanks everyone for all the info.
      Greg, I am getting a bit old to be chacing anyone around the streets with it, although I do know of a mouth I would like to stick together, cheers Don.
