Hello, can anyone tell me if it's possible to change the handle from right to left. I completely removed everything and cleaned and greased but it seems the gears are not going the same way. Is there something to do to make it left handed.

akfish

Can't do it. The 330 was left hand retrieve; the 331 was right hand retrieve.

Are you serious, that sucks it's such a nice reel. Are they worth anything?

Not sure about the 330N vs 331N and L vs. R; this ain't a Mitchell, after all.  There are surely some who know one way or the other.  I see pics online with the handle on the R side also some with handle on L side.

There are (7) reels in the "N" series of DAM Quicks —-

110N, 220N, 330N, 331N, 440N, 441N, 550N

There are (7) reels in the Finessa series of DAM Quicks —-

110, 220, 221, 330, 331, 440, 550

————————————————————————————————————-

All reels in the Finessa series can be switched from right to left.

In the "N" series, only the 331N & 441N (high speeds) CAN be switched.

Depending on switching crank sides —- you will need a mirror opposite oriented oscillation slide.

If you need one, I have one for you.

I guess I stand corrected. Can you with a 331 from RH to LH without any additional parts? I know the early black and gold spinfishers could be switched but you needed a separate handle post.

An opposite mirror image oscillation slide is needed, which I posted above, Bill.

This makes the 331N & the 441N ambidextrous reels.  Nice feature.

After thinking it over it's probably not worth it, with converting from US-Can 40% plus customs
Maybe i'll just sell it or give away.

Thank you for following up. It irks me to see these threads "die on the line" when a person either finds it elsewhere or decides to move on from the project. So we appreciate you sharing this conclusion with us.
