Get the 9.9 Suzuki from online outboards
You can remove the restrictor plate and it is the same motor as 25hp ??

Unless removing the restrictor plate makes it grow another cylinder they are rather different.

checked youtube, you are correct, 20hp and 9.9 are the same seems,
itching to get one,

Yes I see that Gobiwan I will look for the video. Onlineoutboards.com shows 4 -15" shaft models all EFI,one caught my eye  has pushbutton electric start with a built in charging system.9.9 is plenty power for my 14'
Jon boat either way,the white Suzukis are longer shaft I suppose for kicker motors on Saltwater boats.
