It's been a minute since I've worked on the boat, given my pops situation my heart just hasn't been into it. But I need to get her sold before the weather gets here so I'm back at it.

Decks and benches are truck bed liner painted. The decks are done; the benches are mocked up and ready, seats are bolted in. Need to do some more work on the back panels to get them to properly fit then ben line them too.

Hope to have the cosmetics done by tomorrow, then it's time to get the motor running.

Those two boats are very nice.  The Klamath reminds me of my Gregor, without the proud bow.  My hull plate was intact, and I upgraded to a 30 hp Tohatsu 4 stroke last year from my old 30 hp Evinrude.  Nice to have the electric start. I used garage floor paint on my seats to give them a grippier texture.

Very clean look, I had to pull out the table saw (not an easy feat with my garage) to trim up some pieces. I should have it all back together before lunch.

If I was keeping it, I'd put a four stroke on her.

James, I am not good at enclosing pictures in the private replies but will try to post some pictures here. Photo shows the battens installed where I cut the seat to make an access panel. I used a Meyer's Hub to pass the wire through to the box from under the seat. Mount on top of the panel is for my I phone, purchased from Amazon, it is Aluminum. Also showing a LED spotlight that is installed on the bow for docking.  I also installed a matching light back at the stern on a 1" L bracket that is about 10" long that helps to light the cockpit when boardin or for serious rigging in low light.

Here are some views of the electrical switch box, and you can see the watertight terminal box back on the transom that contains the connections for the motor, the wire run to it    has a master switch at the battery, also note the rocker 3 way switch on the side for my bilge pump.  Other aspect shows the fish finder and illuminated compass.

I like to see what others have done to their boats.After modding my Jon boat years ago there are things I would have done differently ,but can be changed.
I will post some photos later.

Tinboats.net is a good site to get ideas.
I tried to think it out, made sketches.

I have a friend  that is a welder & if you can think it up , he usually can make it.
