My Dad's'74 Eagle Claw rod is beginning to lose some brown thread, not at a guide yet, just an accent wrap.I am looking for thread to match.I haven't contacted Wright Mcgill yet but years ago they sent me
Some Eagle Claw emblems free or charge.

Maybe Fuji 033 Flat Dark Earth might be close if the manufacture doesn't have your color.

Looks like gudebrod thread, I have a bunch of different shades of brown. Can you tell if it's regular nylon or NCP?  Let me know and I'll send you some
Do what you can with that you have where you are

The tan coats n clark upholstery thread looks about like that when epoxied
Any machine is a smoke machine if you use it wrong enough.

The thread typically darkens when finish is applied, especially regular nylon. It can be hard to get an exact match on older rods because the thread has weathered a bit
I think it's gudebrod 832 regular nylon that will darken
It could also be 541 ncp. It's hard to tell

I think the one on the right looks more like it,no sheen.

When I click on the right photo it gets rotated to the top(I addressed that on website issues already)

My mistake. Fuji Secret Squirrel 030 looks a lot closer. 033 looks a little greenish.
