Pre War 9/0 with wood torpedo handle and unplated spool

I received this one today. I'll also post pictures in the Penn Senator history thread.
This is what I believe to be a 1942 Penn Senator 9/0 with rosewood torpedo handle knob and a spool that was never chrome plated at the factory.

Oh for Pete's sake! I went to go put it on the display shelf and found that I already had another one with a wooden torpedo knob! Albeit this one has a plated, drilled spool
