Flat Free Tires ZTR

I got a flat on the front of my ZTR & a local tire store wanted  $55 to put tube in 11x6-5 WTH So I found 2 flat free tires on Amazon for $70 figuring I be set.

Big mistake,besides jarring every tooth in my head,terrible ride! I have an aftermarket spring seat that made it ride great before.With the flat free tires you feel any little bump or rock,they are going back right away!

You can't  replace the ride of pneumatic tires.

I ordered 2 tubes  on Amazon  for $16
& will get it done myself.

you my brother need a Ferris isx800, your front tooth will be safe,
in-lieu of that, how about a suspension seat, nice once are $$???

Most quality tire shops stound here just fix flats for free.

Tire Depot, America's Tire, etc.

Les Schwab even repairs flats if you did not buy the tires from them, N/C.

Good way to get and keep customers!

Yes gobe I have a suspension seat the flat free tires totally  cancels it out,its that bad.

oh, my mower has front solid wheel, will slowing it down help?

No, flat free tires  are solid  too,I cut 10 acres out of 24 between ztr & tractor,cant slow down,just start over

$30 to fix any type of non-semi flat around here. I've been using AmerSeal (https://www.amerseal.com/) in all my non road tires for over 25 years and never have any flats. It's the best tire sealant on the market and well worth the cost.

Ha ha ha! Bet your back was screaming. When I was younger and still had my lawn care service. Used to take rags and shove them in the tires of my walk behinds in a pinch. Couple of times took the valve stem out and filled the tires with expanding hole filler using the straw, then threw the valve stem back in lol. Much better ride than the solid tires lol. Try doing this on a 1979YZ 250 lol! Wanted to ride so bad one time, drilled straight through the tire and bolted it right to the rim, using the rim hold downs that prevent the tire from sliding lol. That was friggin bumpy lol.

Sometimes I just ignore a post here about mystery names, words, acronyms, etc., like "ZTR", guessing if the poster wanted me to know, they might write it out, and I can understand and perhaps even contribute. Then I see a bunch of posts and figure others know what that is, maybe I can learn something new, maybe it's important. And along comes ai for me, thanks ai.
Really though, I don't wanna depend on ai, or clog-up a thread with questions.

Dixon popularized the ZTR moniker back when they came out with their "Dixon ZTR" brand mower back in 1974. They were blue if I remember right.
