Ernie of Bearing Bad, has made several tools for reel work. He designs very useful tools and they are very very well made. I wont use it all that often but I finally had him make me a slide hammer with complete set of attachments. I have struggled in the past with a few stuck bearings in blind holes. I got them out but man was it a pain to do without the right tool. I hope he doesnt mind me bragging on him and his tools. If you are not familiar with Bearing Bad, he is on Instagram.

the tweezer-like bearing tools he made me are used every reel I work on. They can grab and pull a bearing if there is room under it for the lip of the tool, they help install, and beat of all, they securely hold the bearing while you are cleaning it and lubing it and they are a great holder for testing the bearings out too. I will guess that these type tools are his most popular. Such a simple tool, so dang useful!

I have a set of the tweezers pullers, very handy for pulling bearings out

Ernie is awesome, fished with him a couple of times. Knows a few really good food spots too. I have the bearing pullers but that slide hammer looks awesome.

he sent me a few very good looking soft plastic baits a while back. They were different than anything I would have picked or paid for. Several worked great and caught me some great fish. Wish I lived closer and could fish with him, but California is a long way from Alabama, and I refuse to be groped, disrespected, and prodded to fly.

that slide hammer and the attachments is really cool I will get it from Ernie on of these days

I have some of the tools from Ernie and they are very useful, the twizzer pullers, my favorite is  the XXH spool pin puller
