Caught Red Grouper in the Gulf

Four of us went out about 50 miles in the Gulf yesterday. Little bouncier than I like, but storms stayed away, and we managed to catch 7 and a few Lane Snapper. Our MO lately seems to be one less than limit no matter how many people fishing. Still happy we caught some keepers as I must have descended at least a dozen that were just a bit short. Other fishers descended a bunch too. The Penn 49L worked great as a descender reel. Thanks again Lee for the recommendation.
