I don't have newer model as they list above .My Daiwa reel mostly from 80 to 90 . Daiwa PMF 1000 ,PMF 1500 ( not in pic as I gave to my brother try to get him back to fishing )PS2 -5b ,TD1Pi ,TD2Hi and Procaster Z
The only problem with newer model on these is ruber handle knob get melted so I have to change with after market handles, older model made with hard plastic stay in  good condition

My bass casting reels are all SM-2s and PT-33s that I tuned up over the years. The SM-2s are pretty good when they are tuned properly. Bonus is that I use the old Millionaire H/HS reels for distance casting in the surf, and lots of SM-2 parts interchange.
The gears on the PT33s are ridiculously stout, and they cast surprisingly well too.
I found a TD-Advantage 150H last weekend for $15 in excellent shape. I hope it's as good as the older reels!

I used the SM-2 long time ago ,It's cast well much better than Abu Garcia round reel and easier for my hand ,use heavier line #12 and up, light line sometime get caught between spoon , Have only 1 bearings but line go out smooth
 There aren't any vendor at Houston flee market that sell old tackle . TD150H is very good deal for $15
I use the TD-2 Hi for salt water , it's  light and hold good for salt water .  spool hold 200 yard 40 lbs test
