Older 4 Drag Gear Sleeve and Main Gear Fit Newer Models?

Will the Blackie model sleeve and main gear fit G Model and later 200-400 series Newells? Figured the gear would, but not sure about sleeve. Also, thought I read that the bridge assembly in Blackies won't fit newer models. Is that correct? Thanks!

Yes it will, check the dog for fitment on the gear sleeve teeth, you might have to switch it too.

OK thanks for the gear info Sheridan. Do you know if the bridge assy is unique to Blackies only?

The bridge assembly is basically the same except for the shift lever is different and won't fit unless you file the opening in the side plate.
