Revo Toro 61 Modded

I have here a Revo Toro 61 that I purchased last year.  I decided to go all out with this reel to match Shimanos new Tranx offering.  This reel will be used for 1-8oz swimbaits for Musky and Bass.  I had some decals made at Decal Connections to match the stock ones and then sent the reel off to California to be stripped and painted.  I chose to have it painted flat black and gloss white.  I ordered Boca Abec 7 orange seal bearings for the spool and installed them with the seals removed.  I ordered an Avail power handle from Japan as well as a Daiwa RCS EVA power knob from Japan.  I then used the end nut off of a Abu Record to finish off the reel.  Attached are some images before the Record nut was added.  I'm going to go home tonight and inspect the reel as I do not know if I have the old failure prone kick lever or not.  Thank god for this site or I would have never known!

Thanks!  Now I just wish I could find a black spool for it so I can buy one or two!  Just have to finish the custom rod it's going on now, also complete with high end Fuji guides and JDM Matagi components.

Wowwwwwwwwww :o i cant even look at my painted revo after seeing this. Good luck finding a spool for it.

It may not be very productive,

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Looks like I have the 18 00 model so I need to get the new parts from Pure Fishing to upgrade it to the 18 01/18 02 model.  More upgrades! 8)

I sent it off to a guy named Alan in California.  I found him on tackletour.com's forum under the username Calfish.  Shoot him a PM over there and he can fill you in.

Of course I'm gonna use it, whats the point in having a hopped up reel that is a show piece! ;D
