friday,sun shining,flat seas,no wind,beautiful day'
1,whales everywhere,seen30 or more.
we were going to fish out wide but decided to try a new spot we passed over.
berlied up(chum)for 1/2 hour then it was on for young and old.
20m depth,floating line,no sinker,just a single hook.
2,  trevor hooked up.850ssm penn.30lb dyneema
3.  5kilo snapper
4.my 2 snapper
only allowed 2 per person and we bagged out quickly.released all others
5.  southern tip of rottnest island.id like to get in there,
but between the boat and the point waves break also.
saturday,suppose to be a repeat of friday,it wasn't.
fished with nick on a different boat.more whales.
we went wide,30 miles offshore and found a magnificent reef
50m depth rising to 20m
we caught 10 different species.
samson,kingfish,baldchin groper(only in wa i think)
snapper,black #### cod,scorpion,dhu,cant think of the rest.
1 nick hooked up to samson
2.   nick wins
3.on the way back,bridge to garden island
4. point peron boat ramp.(launched)
5. the feast.   kingfish cutlets, wings, sushimi(cod)boneless snapper fillets,
baldchin groper fillets,frames for bbq,
had a couple of waves over the top,
but 2 days of great fishing.we could have caught a lot more
but most was released alive.
1st day$60 for fuel
2nd day $80
2 days cost $70 and the wife goes me half in that IF
i catch fish she likes, hehe

Great report Wallace, next time I want to see a picture of you in action, you could have got those shots from anywhere ;D.

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

      Looks like a great trip to me! Those snappers look yummy... I only eat white-meat fish so those qualify beautifully!
By the way, what's a "black #### cod"  LOL
