I've got nothing against the stuff. Clearly enough people have had excellent results with it that I would have no problem recommending using it if someone already has it. I just like superlube better and I have both.

Hi everyone,

I've been using this grease for servicing fishing reels for quite some time now, and honestly, the performance has been outstanding. It has excellent consistency, smooth operation, and great corrosion resistance.

The only problem is... I have no idea what brand it actually is.

Does anyone happen to recognize this grease based on its appearance? Is there any chance this could be a Yamalube grease, or perhaps another brand?

I'd really appreciate any insights or suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Gotta wonder then how old the tub of cals I got from Keith is. Because it's quite split.

 Most folk are not going to notice the difference on a bigger saltwater reel.

Unless the reel is going to be used for trolling 100% of the time I use oil only on spool bearings.
