Good video,all those people always doubting the old school Penn reels,we used to catch marlin and sharks on them in the Keys all the time.

I for one never doubted the Penn 114's strength or versatility.  I, along with my fishing buddies have caught 15 or 20 striped marlin over the years using the Penn 114.  As a matter fact the crew usually set that reel up with live bait to throw to marlin on the surface.  Hail hail the 114 long may it live.  Dominick

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

I have never caught a marlin on a 114 but I have caught a few on a 113H.
