Just want to share this movie with you, it's featuring my friend and customer lars, who
is doing what he can to smash up his freshly serviced reels.

Thanks for sharing.  Awesome video.  I don't think my back could take GT fishing...

Call me a philistine, but the whole time, I was thinking: if these guys are getting 'em like that on topwaters and spinners, what could you do with a winch and a biiig livebait?

Those guys have a sporting approach to this, they do some weights three month before a trip. I would like to try it too one day, but until I have the money, ill just be sharing their dreams while doing their reels ;)

Next time they send in their reels hold them for Black Mail for a trip.
I have not failed.  I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Killerbug,

Thanx for the video. I noticed your mates wearing the Buff headwear (thing around neck) over their nose and mouth, why?  Also noticed their use of gloves, are the fish that rough to handle? I looking into some fishing hand protection, any recommendations?

Leo

Killerbug

The buff headwear are protection from the sun, and the glowes are to protect your fingers from being cut by the line, when casting 10 ounce poppers.  I have often suggested that they should try the Shimano Tranx instead of the cofee mills, but no luck ;)

You sure would be killing those GTs fast! But I get the feeling that this was not these guys' intention on that trip :D

Patudo

Bloody hell, not just for GT fans... for anyone who loves surface fishing of any kind!

this must be some of the best shot fishing video I've ever seen, and also.. it definitely looks as though your friends working out for 3 months before the trip was well rewarded. Great link.
