Since Alan said this was his favorite spinner. I picked one up for 20 bucks.

The only thing I don't like is the main gear is exposed and there is a hole in the end as well for the oscillator. Can you seal this up? If any sand gets in there, this baby is done.

What happened to the rear cover.  There is a gold plastic cover that is supposed to be screwed on the back to cover up the openings.  Something is a miss with your reel..
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

The schematic on the box shows it. I asked the seller if he had it. You wouldn't happen to have one? Would you Boss?

No need to worry about that plate, put a hook on that line, tie the foot to your leader and use that reel as a fish finder rig ;).
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Shark Hunter, Alan likes them because their not worth sending them to him to service. Just buy another one. You did know Alan loves to work on spinning reels.  ;D ;D   Bob

I made a deal with the seller. He gave me 5 bucks back and I bought a parts reel for 10 bucks. So I still only got $25 in it and a reel for parts. I'm just going to use it to catch bait. My son wanted to take one of my rods out in the Kayak, and I wouldn't let him, It was a $100 dollar reel. This way if he loses it, its no big deal.
