I made this for a 9/0. Its only missing one thing. The Dom and Tom Frame! 8)

It looks good on the safe. I figure, One for Dom's frame and another on the other side with the Black Pearl Frame! ;D

I really wanted to put the Everol up there, but Its just too big!
Let's see how long it takes my Wife to notice. ;)

I like this angle better.

Nice plinth, is Perspex? and what do you use to join the corners.

I don't know what Perspex is. This is a thick piece of plexiglass (Acrylic Sheet) That I heated with a torch and formed to shape.

Hey Daron, now that is a really short plinth...  ;D  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Shark Hunter

It was 12 " long before I shaped it! :o

Hi Daron,

Perspex is what we call Plexiglas here in the U.K. You made an excellent job of bending it, I thought it was three pieces joined together!!

Sometime I will give it a try, what thickness did you use?

Mike.

Shark Hunter

Its between 1/4" and 1/2". .354 caliper. The 1/2" is too heavy and blisters when you get it too hot trying to bend it.

Thanks for the size, I will see what I can find and start practising!

Daron
next time you get ready to bend some plexy glass i can teach you how to bend half inch or better sheets. I will post some picks for some seats we made at the old Car stereo shop i used to work for on our shops custom lowrider.

That's how it works around here Salty.
Chris, those are some cool looking seats. Not very practical though. Somebody heavy sits in one of those, I'll guarantee they break when they lean back. If its polycarbonate, then that's a different story.
I made a sold 1/2" box for my Everol, but scrapped the idea when I realized how heavy it was. :-\

That 1/2" does get heavy pretty quick

If anybody wants one of these Plinths,  I can hook you up cheap! I get the material for free. About 20 minutes to drill and shape.
