Not just the drag, the way they hold the rod while fighting the fish was all wrong.

I feel sorry for the unfortunate fish and not the clown with the rod.

I think that's the one that got away.     

Watched it happen to a charter captain I know a couple of weeks ago from our boat 20 yards away. Client just had it taken away from him by an amber jack. Nice jigging rod combo, 10 ' out before it hit the water, disappeared into davy jones locker. LOL
