Reel Repair by Alan Tani

My garbage man friend found this while on route.He knows I tinker with old reels so he gave it to me.It was quite ugly...but with some love and help from the members here I breathed new life into it.Sorry I didn't have time to do a step by step assembly but I was so ready to get it back together.So here's the final product.....

Hey that came out really nice.

I love the 209.  My dad has one with a green handle we have been fishing since I was about 5 (late 70s), and a recent service and upgrade will ensure it has many more years of use in it.

Good Job on that 309 ReelGuy. Looks pretty sweet!

Hey Daron we can't tell if he did a good job without the before pictures.   But it is a beauty queen.  Dominick
