Well it came time to bite the bullet and leave my wheelchair at home and go fishing for a few hours and put a few of my tricked up reels through a bit of a work out - Using pilchards cut in half and gang hooked with a 5/0 bottom and a 4/0 at the top & lobed it out with a 5oz breakaway sinker a good 60 -70 meters without too much effort for the 200 Surf master - I had a couple of dry casts with the 500 jig master - double dogged and magged - I had to remove one magnet and move the three remaining closer to the center or the reel and threw out another bait - Had three good takes but no hook ups until fifteen minutes before my ride was due to turn up - the Surf master's clicker made the sound we fish'os all like to hear with a solid hook up this Kahawai straight from the sea was full of beans - after ten minutes he was tired enough to land - weighed 5 1/2 pounds and fat condition - Ill be eating well tonight . ;D- Pic of the 500l next to the Kahawai .
Enjoy

X 2.  I'd sure like to park my boat in my back yard.  My aunt lives in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in a condo on a canal about a block from the ocean.  As part of the ownership of the condo she can park a boat 75 feet from her front door.  Well she is 103 years old and never owned a boat.  God bless her.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.
