Too limp?  Never considered the possibility of it happening.  What would be the disadvantage of "too limp"?  Knot slippage?  Line cutting itself easily when using really basic knots?

Bryan Young

I think it's more for presentation.   There is a place for stiff leaders and soft leaders alike.  It matters based on your type of fishing.  For example, when I'm fishing with plugs, I like a stiff leader.  My lures have better action.  When fishing live bait or plastics on a unweighted hook, I like limp leaders.  I think it allows the live baitl or plastics to swim more freely.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

I would only buy 20-25# Floro. I will be fishing shallow water this Summer.

Mike
I have not failed.  I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Hi Mike,

You should be able to get them from my online store (www.mkt.com/pro-challenger-llc). That will be the easiest way.

Let me know.

Thank you for your business again, as always!

Alan,

I have decided to take your fluorocarbon line down to the Tortugas and see how it performs.  I have always been a mono leader user but want to experience for myself how Fluorocarbon feels and responds to the challenges found in this fairly virgin fishing area.  Should be fun and a real good test of the qualities of this line.
I am placing an order on your website shortly.
