Bar the wife lol what is you favourite catch and why.

Here is mine from years ago an 18lb 8oz rainbow
caught yonks ago now at a specimen lake.

9'6 rod #7 on a 15 foot leader with a size 22 grey duster
on the business end.

The power of these fish (plenty under my belt over 10lb+)
with one I will never forget at 12lb it took me right down
to the backing and did not want to play ball, it wanted to
run so I let it.

This day it was freezing (as you can tell by the look on my face),
still remember it to this day.

Few nice pics of a nice few salmon I caught in my
club salmon river, (well im a member of two club rivers),
very hard to get in to, 20 years plus, have all my flies,
spinners ready, seeing a salmon take the fly is a great sight.

Will put them up when I get my own laptop back from repair.

Everything clean and ready for this years season, ready to go,
get the water right :) ;)

There we go, a few salmon (grilse caught (by me) in my club rivers).

Included is a nice wild brown trout at 2lb 15oz (1oz shy of 3lb)

Wanted to upload more but that's all it will allow me.

And guys some catch and release, in our club you are allowed
a few for the pot (other club), in other river (fish shown it is now catch and release).

A PB salmon/grilse caught by me only last year in new club river,
a hard fighting 6lb fresh fish.

steelfish

those are really nice fishes there my friend, I have never fished for salmon but its on my list of pendings as well as is to fish for musky.

well, I dont really have a favorite fish or favorite catch

but its always fun to catch a nice sized triggerfish, IMHO best figther pound x pound specially if you use light and flexible rods and fishing from shore

or maybe when I went to Port Vallarta for surfishing for roosterfish, well they didnt wanted to play but I scored a nice Jack crevalle

No fish in the picture, but both my boys will tell you of the trip they caught more fish than dad....good times

It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Stunning pics guys, beautiful sunshine. I love the part in fishing
were you feel that tap tap, holding the rod it's the take, beach fishing
it's the tap tap, gets the heart beat going.

Lovely pics guys, hopefully more guys will post some of there
favorite catches, big or small does not matter, my first fish
was a rock pool with hand line/spool fishing for tiny blenny fish,
still remember it today, the line was a very light breaking strain
so still enjoyed it.

Thanks for sharing guys, seeing the different species.

Big Tim

After winning the Jackpot with my son Johnny 4 years in a row on the annual Moro Bay Virg's Landing Fathers Day trip I started fishing with my son Michael. Some friends from the SoCal fish Killaz were there and several other acquaintances. Well normally I talk all the BS and win, but 2 years ago I show up with a different son and all the talk was, Tim your MOJO will be gone until Mike wins a Jackpot on fathers day...Mike had a 12# ling that was for sure in the running and I start talkin'...Brad Leage of the Princess calls reel em boyz & I toss out one more time, Brad gives me the eye and I tell him you got a 5 man tangle and I will be right back with the Jackpot...13.8# last drop & let the BS begin... ;D ;D ;D $380.00 later

My first Shark, A 6 foot Blacktip. Feisty! ;D

I watched my friend nearly lose his family jewel's on a 3 footer brought over the rails!!! Feisty yes  ;D

Shark Hunter

I beached that Shark pretty green Tim. As soon as I stepped back to get my dehooker. He started thrashing so hard, he was coming off the sand a foot easy. He had his rant, I dehooked him and he behaved. This shot was right after I took the hook out. Not 10 seconds later, he was on his way.
I caught a smaller one that same day. He was a beserker.
This was the only time he was still. If I knew then what I know now, I would have been grilling some Shark steaks that night.
