It seems like the time to say Happy Fishing and Merry Crhristmas , and Soon it will be the New Year!
    Below is a few pictures that I thought some of you would find interesting.   I live where you dont.  But its all good.

   this was my cat of many years now sleeping the big sleep.  but life goes on with out us.
  my wifes nice cat.
  this is a collored dove.   they are new to se alaska,  and considered an invasive species.  arent we all?   no.   mostly?   forget it!
  my friends the backyard limb chompers!
   a perfect day! quiet, serene, beautiful wallpaper, no ramp wait. no fees, nobody , its just you and your self trying to figgure it all out!
   Have a Merry Christmas, and be with the ones you love cause the fish can wait!!!!!

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Now there are a couple of beautiful pictures.  Idyllic setting to be sure.  You are a long way from home there.  Did you catch anything with the fly gear?

Had an extended opportunity to fish damn near everyday for two months on the island and the causeway.  Lots of Spanish mackerel and snook on the fly.  Went through a lot of flies on those spanish mac's!  They shred everything!
