STRIPER LOU

Just received 3 colors from a new supplier. Seems to machine well, decent quality, polishes nicely, wild colors and a little pricey. Another Acrylic hybrid and it survived the crash test too!

I tried to rotate it so you can see the variation's within the same piece. Pictures do it no justice and the colors range from brown/gold to red/pearl blue's with a blend of carmels.

2 other colors will be machined along with another bunch of stuff when I get a chance.

Just wanted to see what you think?

Lou, I would like to see it on both a red and a blue reel to get a good feel for it.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Holy cow, love that.  You could switch it to various reels and it would still match!

Dom, I'm still working on the plastic portions. Will start the shafts in a few weeks and when I finish them I'll post some up for you.

Looks like Dan is correct and it will go with just about anything. Also have a color and I think it's going to look like wood grain. Wont  really know for sure until its turned and polished.

Lou, that handle would look great with orange, light blue, and any earth tones (brown, maroon, red etc.)  The pattern reminds me of a 70's-styled bowling alley.  I'd like to buy one.   /Joe

I'd name it 'Cosmic Chaos'...

That's quite a handle for it Dan! It actually blends rather nicely together, it pops but it subtle too. Very classy looking!

We started with a 2 base color and I had him add several additional colors. With the open cast method you really don't know exactly what it looks like until its turned and polished. We did the same with the others and tried to pick colors that would make wood tones. We're hoping one will come out like a Burl Walnut, at least that's the plan.

If it works out, these will be cast exclusively for the shop. We'll see how it goes.

As of now, I'm completing orders for about 25 pcs and still pretty backed up. At some point I have to make more time for fishing before the season zip's by me!

All have a great evening,  ..  Lou

That's what the one you made for me reminded me of...a burled walnut. Love that new color...it will work great with many reels.  8)

Beautiful!  Do you ever turn down grips for levelwind baitcasters, or just the big guys?
