Reel Repair by Alan Tani

Hi every one, a mate just gave me an old reel, it has made in France, then on the chrome ring it has 0173634stamped on it, the drag star has numbers 1 to 5, on the fingers, can any one identify this reel please, thanks in advance, cheers Don.

Looks like a Mitchel Garcia 600 series. There's several posts on these reels, on this forum. Do a search.

Yes thanks men, I see sledge, has a post on the Mitchell 600 series, with a reply today, perfect timing for me, thanks again, cheers Don, see what this reel is like when I strip it, its not working @ the moment, so see what it is like I may have a donner for thems fellows, cheers Don.
