Nice reels John....aren't some of those "quick take apart" with a thumb screw on the head plate ??

I tried avoiding this post because I have a big enough problem with Penn reels....Great collection John....BTW got the handle today and A Big Thanks brother....gonna look good on the 9/0.   Bill

hmmm will check when I get home. haven't been in any of them beyond a wipe off.

I think it is some kind of line lock.
It is not a take apart.
I fiddled with it a little.
There are so many old Pfleugers. It hard to find a favorite.
There are many options.
