Spinning Reel Anti- Reverse Wont Work

I have two spinning reels I cleaned and now my anti-reverse switch clicks ok but the reel does not stop.. I have all the parts but obviously i am doing something wrong to have two different reels with the same issue.

Not knowing what type of reel it is — it could be something as simple as the A/R ratchet wheel upside down.  We need more information.

Or the dog spring incorrectly installed? Show us some photos of the mechanism.

Or the little tabs on the silent dog need to be pinched together ;D
