Well, I think you have successfully mastered both. Beautiful work on the chest of drawers.

Excellent work!

What type of wood is that?

Thank you all!

I'm not sure of correct term here... It is glued laminated timber, made of oak.

The coating is few thin layers of liquid wax for timber and final layer is solid wax.

Beautiful job on that piece! Did you glue the slots yourself or did you purchase pre set panels?

Very nice.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

The boards were in size  40 cm x 120 cm, 18 mm thick.
My job was to cut those in pieces and drill & join & glue all together.

Invested to a milling cutter to formulate drawer chest edges...

Beautiful work brother....Bill
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Great work GulfOfBothnia, you should be able to store a lot of reels in that very stylish looking piece of furniture.

Mike
It can't be too difficult - a lot of people do it.

Thanks for the pictures,  Thats very nice looking furniture you have made.  It will last a long time for sure.  You are inspiring me to stay home from fishing and do something useful as well.  ;)   Put you undys on the second one  and the reels on top. 8)

I have also considered building a showcase cabinet on top of the drawer. Not sure if it ever going to happen though

Very nice, another 200 reels and it will be fully packed...or is it? :)
