Here is a set of calstar rail rods I made match set

Khanh, all your rods posted here are beautiful!

What separates these Calstars as 'rail rods'?  The blank? The foregrip?

The blanks  I believe ones a 80 and the other is a 100lb set up

Khan, can I ask what is the blue thread you used on this rod ?

Personally  I've always liked a simpler type butt wraps with out being to busy. Like you have done here      Yet with your build here there is no doubt this is a custom built rod when one looks at it. Nice job. Just noticed this one... Jeff

Yes Kahn beautiful wrap.  It looks like blue metallic.  Is there such a thing?  Dominick

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.
