We are back. Had a great time caught some quality bluefin. I caught my personal best fish that taped out at 110 lbs.  I will post pictures later as I just left Fisherman's Processing.  I dropped off 190 lbs of  whole fish for 4 fish.weather was warm and overcast with a stiff breeze blowing the whole time. Wind swells and chop kept us on our toes the whole time. Day one produced some fish on flyline during the sundown bite. The night drops produced nada It was hard keeping the dropper loop or flat falls vertical, even with 1 lbs of lead. Day 2 was mostly productive on the kite, with a cow coming over the rail.  Day three was pretty slow during the day, but the sundown bite really turn it on with lots of schoolies coming over the rail.

If I remember right 3 people limited out. By the time the evening bite came around after dinner, we tried deep dropping but between the wind and the speed of the schools nothing happened. Evan the new owner/operator really worked his butt off to find us fish and his hard work paid off. Wayne was busting his butt during the trip and finally scored 4 fish on the last day, even breaking a hook losing a quality fish 20 minutes into the fight.  He kept hard charging and brought 4 over the rail.   Alan and the boys are on their way home as I am also.   More to come as everyone gets home.   Bill

Edit to correct the darm autocorrect.

Awesome guys!

Thanks for taking us along Alan.

Wayne, sorry to see that, I know it is a heartbreaker losing a fish of any size.
