Reel Repair by Alan Tani

Got a couple of 454's that I'm trying to de-Tiburon and return to their factory glory. I got everything but top posts, there is a vid out there where the P454 reel seat was replaced with one off of a Penn 113HLW, I don't have access to a Penn to measure but does anyone know if the top cross post will also fit on a Newell 454?  Thanks!

Yes Graham, they are the same length and they do fit, although if memory serves correctly, the 113HLW posts are slightly larger in diameter than the Newell 454 posts.
