Lake Gregory in the Evening

Not my photograph but wanted to share.  This is a drone shot taken of the west end of Lake Gregory at sundown.  The lake itself is approximately 28 acres in size.  You can see the inflatable water park in the middle where my son works as a lifeguard.  There is a water slide on the left, and our local grocery store, Goodwins, at the end of the lake.  Goodwins has been on the mountain since the mid 40's in a couple different locations.  One was turned into our post office where we have to go to get our mail, as there is no curbside service here.

Crestline did not get much rain, farther east about 20 miles got quite a bit.  A flash flood on Hwy 38 stranded a bunch of cars that required a swift water rescue from the fire department.  So far most of the storms are tracking northeast of us.  We sure could use the rain.  Bill
