Well, make sure you really want it, Steve —-

Don't want to squeeze or put you in an uncomfortable position.

As far as opportunities —- I have two of these currently that are new in the boxes.  And I want to get them out into the world.

So if you want to hold off —- and if I still have another, you are still OK.  However, both may sell, and I don't know when and if another will ever come up as brand new in the box.

So, just let me know if you want it for sure.

They are rare in this condition —- and great investments.

Gfish

That's a great deal; $155 for a NIB relatively rare DAM Quick with ALL the goodies.
Fishing tackle is an art form and all fish caught on the right tackle are"Gfish"!

I received the reel 2-1/2 days after Fred shipped it. Almost 2800 miles Auberry to Bartow. Amazing.
It takes 4-5 days for Florida in-state shipping.
Just actually opened the box tonight. The reel is perfect and I love the size. Thank You Fred.

Fred,
Do you still have one of the NIB 1400s available?  I will take it if you do.
I would like you to do the service and tuning also.  I will be fishing it, not just collecting it.
I need some other DQ parts, a 100-176 bearing for a 330 and a 101-161 drive axle & gear for a 110.  Please PM me with pricing.
Thanks,
Kal

Ok, Kal —-

It is yours.

Which gear for a 110?  Main or worm-pinion?

N/C on the parts since you are getting a reel.

PM your full name and mailing address.

Fred are there any 110n reels left? If so I would like One, also a spare 110n spool if available.

                                                                             Thanks Jim

Fred,
"Which gear for a 110?  Main or worm-pinion?"
It's the main gear shaft that has the problem, worn threads under the crank nut at the handle.  Same idea as Sandbar's post "Microlite Handle Washers" from last August.  I have mine working with a single thick flat washer but who knows how long it will last and the handle won't fold in all the way now.  I'd like to make it right.  The threads in the nut appear to be ok.

Sending PM with address...

If you hadn't stepped up, I would have tried to grab the other nib 1400.
You will be pleased.

Got it, Jim —-

Tomorrow is my shipping day for reels and parts this week.

Just got done late Saturday painting the house & barn, shops, and all outbuildings.  Took 6 full days.

The week before was carpenter work and prep, plus some major tree branch removal.

Yesterday was re-installing motion lights, touching up, and other details.

Today is going down to Fresno to remove and Re-caulk 110' of area where the aluminum window frames attach to the concrete foundation in our new Church.  Glass company wanted $2900 for a job I could do in 4 hours for just $150 in materials.  Contractors are really taking advantage of folks nowadays.  We see it up here —- and all over.  Material supplies have doubled or tripled in many cases.  And the quotes we are receiving are from Crazyville.

Tomorrow is the only day this week to ship about 10 boxes of parts and reels this week.

Next week will be repairing (2) steel roof panels and trim, re-oiling the 40' deck, taking down some high Cedar branches, setting up for a couple of metal RV storage buildings we are having installed, and a little reel work.

Received the 1400 yesterday, it's a beauty!  It's the first "new" reel I've bought in a long time, and I'm definitely going to enjoy fishing with it. The quality is DQ top notch all the way, as is Fred's service.  Friends ask me why I usually buy only "old" or "used" reels, and I explain that it's the affordable way to buy top quality gear when you know what to look for.  This site helps a lot with that knowledge.  My "old" equipment outlasts the new stuff all the time.  It's always a pleasure to deal with the members of this site.
Thanks Fred!
