Anyone know who made this frame?

It's for a 6/0 Senator but there are no other markings. Not a bad looking frame but I'm not a fan of the gold because it makes me think I am trying to pass it off as an international. The bottom mounting bracket is "wrinkled" for lack of better terminology. Apparently it was removed in a rough way and kinda messed up one end but should still mount ok.

Maybe a red or black powder coat would be a good upgrade.............

:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Powder coating can mess up all the mating surfaces. You can probably get it anodized for about the same price. I had a Sealine powder coated and spent days scraping it off in places so the reel would go back together. Just a thought

I'm glad you said that since I was wondering the same thing about the areas where we don't want any extra material. I even started gathering some old screws so I could at least keep the threaded areas clean.
There's a guy on Craigslist in Tampa that specifically power coats reels and fishing parts. Some of these guys are really "proud" ($) of the small jobs and I would rather not spend more than I can get a decent frame for. I'll post what he's asking if anyone is interested but if I remember correctly he used to put the prices in his posts and I wouldn't even open the link since it was so high so I'm anxious to see his response.

Do anyone know of a place that anodizes small individual pieces?

I would put that frame on a reel as is and fish it hard. Anything you spend on it at this point would be wasted. Sometimes you can get a frame same as  yours in excellent shape for just $50 :-\. Just my 2cents.

Sal..... I like the way you think! ;)

I did get a reply back and he said it would run about $30-$35

rscott, I would be willing to guncoat the frame for you no charge you just pay for the shipping. I just did a spool and it turned out ok. The only colors I have are a matte black and a gunmetal blue. It only adds about .ooo5 in so it shouldn't interfere with the fit. Bob

Sa;, I bought this guncoat a while back, I still have a lot left and I'd rather it get used than go bad sitting around. It's pretty tough and has good anti corrosion properties.
