:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Those reels are a combined effort of the guys here that make the parts that make those reels.Cortez Conversions, Vintage offshore tackle,Black pearl, Brian's Ultimate upgrades. Lou (Striper Lou). all who are on this site who I didn't mention Like Keta Moto fab And the big man Alan Tani who brought everyone together on one site.

They are the guys who made everything possible. I'm just the recipient of those parts.

These are two I found of the 500&501...................Joe

How do you like the EVA foam knob?  i was thinking about getting on for my 110 1/0...  i already bought the prochallenger arm, but I wasn't decided on which knob, EVA or aluminum.

I always took advantage of that extra drag washer on top.  They finish slightly above the main but where is it going to go? I also use a stock thickness stainless keyed washer on top. As long as it doesn't bind inside of the plate you got yourself a 6 plate stack. With one under he main there's about 32lbs. of drag on a 1/0 reel! Ooops.
I also have to grind off about 1/4 of the spacer before the star. I get them from Cortez.
They're thicker walled and I always tune a stack with new parts. Just not worth the frustration trying to be frugal inside a drag stack.
Land a monster!
What is the record catch with a Jigmaster?  Somenody has to know.

There's no record keeping for biggest fish on a certain Penn model.....but there are some documented jigmaster catches that are epic. First one that comes to mind is our own Randy Pauly(vintage offshore tackle). This one was caught with a stock jigmaster 500 !!
