two stroke engine question

As I understand it, the problem with ethanol in the fuel with a two-stroke is not that it messes up the carb so much, as it hinders the mixing of the oil with the fuel.  Crucial with two-strokes that the fuel is properly mixed with the oil to keep lubrication as it should be.

Ethanol tanted fuel does not play well with aluminum and some plastics.  Ethanol absorbs water, water not good for any engine or carburetor.

Does the engine have a reed valve?

I do not recall seeing one when I cleaned it out.  I am going to replace the Carb.  Thanks to jtwill98 for helping me find one.  I think I will also need to replace the throttle spring on it too.  I do not think that comes with the carb.  I imagine it is better to have a slightly stronger spring than a weaker one.  The choke plate is not swinging back.  It will open when the throttle is pulled but not reset.  Thanks
