Have an Abu 7001i in the shop needs a brake plate, part # 1120206.  Part is unavailable anywhere I look. Wondering if anyone has one or perhaps a junk reel that has one that is good. Any help you can be would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Steve

At Mike's Reel repair that part number refers to a complete frame

E Replacement Parts calls the left side plate the brake plate but they give it Part Number: 1116150 and they call it a 7000i CS.  It seems to be in stock though.

It looks to me like they have the wrong photo.
Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Thanks. The one shown is a right hand part (7000i).  Mine is a left hand (7001i).  The CS will not fit per Abu.  Thanks though.

Went through my schematics and found these two. The 7000 series used to be the primary big muskie reel back in the day but rarely see anyone using them anymore. The casting brakes attach to the end of the spool and engage in the recessed portion of the spool if that's what your looking for.

Made a mistake. These are 7001iL schematics. Both are lefty's

Thanks for the reply.  I can get the right hand part (7000i).  What I'm looking for is the left hand 7001i.

Thanks.

I screwed up on my post. Those are two 7001iL schematics. Hope it helps
