I can't take off the inner metal frame from the body because the bottom two aren't screws, I want to fully disassemble the frame and remove the crossbars to add a Tiburon frame and spool but can't take off the inner metal frame or crossbars, and this side doent even have screws. Took apart a G332-f to instal a Tiburon frame and spool and it was a piece of cake. Mahalos for any help 🤙🏾

They get corroded and stuck in the cross bar. See if you can tap it out. Some penetrating oil helps too

I am a Newell lightweight, but doesn't the S series have extra long handle side base screws that go through a hole in the base and screw into what looks like rivets on the other sideplate?

I seem to remember reading about these having corrosion problems too.

Yup I probably gotta get some silicone lube or something to loosen it

Halfway through the "s" series, Newell realized the error in their ways and reverted back to short screws and big bearing caps. You have to look to be sure what you're getting.
