I like this factory rod, its one of my favorites for the kind and size of local fisheries, not much I could do to make it better other than make it more colorful  >:D
so, instead of selling it and getting the same blank + accessories and build it from the ground I opted to just rewrapped it with my personal touch.

this time its a tribute to the Lion of Jamaica, Mr Bob Marley, rastafari style

I used the same ALPS guides but the striper guide, I installed a fuji KW 20 instead of the ALPS 16 that was there, the reason? because of the light weight and nice bend on this rod, when its needed I put a spinner reel on this rod for my daughter which she likes to use 2x than a casting reel, pretty sure the guys on the china factory didnt put the spine on the rod aligned with the guides  :P  ::) so, Dont worry, every little thing its gonna be all right

hmm no idea, when its a rod from my personal arsenal like this one, I just work for an hour or two during the night every couple of days, sometimes I just wrap one or two guides and left the rod alone for few days, working like that this rod took me like 3 weeks to get it done  :)

yep, thats correct

even seeing other rods I have built for my friends/customers in action make the fishing day special.
I built that fishing rod and I built that short Bamboo Gaff, his a local Captain

thanks compa Sheridan

my new year resolution is to use the new rods and reels I have, maybe break a rod on a big fish and tear the break drag washers on a good fight with a mad fish or at least fish more often and have a good time on the water  ^-^
